John D. Zagarella, Sr. Memorial Scholarship

John D. Zagarella, Sr. was a longtime Cambridge resident and graduate of Cambridge High and Latin, Class of 1961. He went on to study at Tufts University before getting married and starting a family. John played multiple sports in the city of Cambridge, including baseball and football. An avid sports fan, John was a longtime coach in the East Cambridge Little Baseball League. Along with his wife, Cookie, John raised six children in the city and was always happy to hear about the successful endeavors of his former team members.
